Aha there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

I have finally figured out how to post onto this blog. Now I just have to decide what to say. Well, how about if I give you a run down of my Christmas down here.
Patrick came down on the train on the 23rd. The train was a half hour late. After I picked him up we stopped for a bite to eat, which was a bit rushed. Once I got him home to the farm, I had to run off to work. Dan came home shortly after that. That night Dan and Patrick went over to Bob and Sheila's for a drink and I joined them after work. Next morning I again had to go to work, leaving Patrick to set up the computer I inherited from Sarah. After dinner we went to evening mass; lots of singing of carols, it was a beautiful service. Then off to Pip's ( Dan's dad) for coffee and cake. Then home to open presents.
Christmas day was breakfast at Pip's, hang around playing games and pool until dinner; then more games then home.
Boxing day we went to Windsor and caught a movie "True Grit", then dinner at Montana's, went to Future Shop to get a new monitor for my computer then home. Next day had to get Patrick onto the train and then to work that evening. The 28th we had dinner at Pip's with his brother Doug. The 29th we had dinner at Geoff and Shelly's.
Saturday its off to Opa's and then Carol's on Sunday.

Merry Christmas Everyone

I finished my library course on Sunday and I passed. Hooray!!!!!!! I'm frantically trying to get ready for Christmas. Yesterday I went shopping with Andrea downtown. It was exhausting but fun until I fell off the curb. Embarrassing! After I dropped Andrea and Josie off at home I headed over to the Dufferin Mall. Big mistake. I was too tired but I did find a few things for Brendan. This morning I left early to buy a few more things at Cloverdale. I left as the parking lot started to fill up. In the afternoon Kevin and I headed over to the Nissan dealership where we picked up Kevin's new Cube. What a great little/big car! I know some of you probably consider it ugly. You either love it or hate it. So far we love it. To celebrate we drove to Anthony's Pizza for a bite to eat. I think it's going to be our new hangout. Nice people and good pizza. Next door is a great new shop called Acqua, specializing in gourmet food. Also one of our new favourite places. I tried to find a website but it's still under construction. I'll keep you posted and add it to this site.
I still have to put up the tree, wrap presents, clean the house, and shop for groceries. I have tomorrow. Friday is our big day. Kevin and the girls will go out early, do last minute shopping and stop for breakfast. It's been a tradition for a number of years now and Kevin looks forward to the 24th. I stay home and do what I need to here so literally I have one day left to get everything done. Wish me luck!

Thanks Kelsey for the Information

I just read Cathy's response to my comment about coming to this site and Kelsey informs me that I can add authors to this blog. So I've invited Cathy and Chris to co-author Sisters. Hopefully they'll add some pictures, stories and recipes. Four more days of school and four more assignments for my on-line course (due this Saturday). Can't wait. Think I'll sleep for two days and then shop, shop, shop.
